Waste and SaniTech India 2016, an initiative by UBM India, India’s leading exhibition organiser, successfully concluded on 19th August at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The three-day trade expo started at 17th August, 2016. Over the course of these three days, the expo brought together India’s Waste management, recycling and sanitation fraternity under one roof to showcase their products, technologies and innovations before a highly influential business community. It was an ideal platform for this industry to congregate and discuss industry trends, challenges and market insights, and provided in-depth solutions, that help in proliferating their business.
Indian Biogas Association (iba) supported Waste & SaniTech India and showcased itself via an exhibition stall. Event had very good footfall which ultimately brought many inquiries to iba. People were curious about the Biogas, its potential, Bio-CNG, electricity generation and financial model. We had visitors from different areas like public sector units, from different government departments, private sector companies, individuals, research institutes, universities, consultants and social workers.
