The 11th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, spread over 3 days was organized from 20th to 22nd September 2017 at the India Expo Center, Greater Noida by UBM. The show brought together internationally renowned exhibitors, stakeholders, consultants, business experts and key government officials under one common platform,to discuss global best practices and seek solutions to some of the most pressing challenges in the power and energy sector.
On the final day of the event, i.e. on 22nd Sept 2017, Indian Biogas Association organized a panel discussion on Circular Economy. A showcase of successful case studies in Biogas was moderated by Mr. Gaurav Kedia (Chairman, Indian Biogas Association). Other guest speakers featured Ms. Kriti Bhardwaj, (Project Manager, WEFT), Mr. Abhijeet Mukherjee (Project Coordinator, The Indo- German Biogas Partnership, BIG-P), and Mr. Jan Clyncke (MD, PV Recycle).
The Session emphasised on the essence of Water and Solid Waste Management in the circular economy, the importance of manufacturing recyclable panels in Solar sector, and most important of all, mean to address the nutrient cycle balance. The session had panel discussions followed by interactive sessions with the attendees. The sessions were highly enriched for the attendees, as it focused on the present status of various initiatives in the renewable sector from recycling standpoint, thus ensuring avoidance of untoward onus on mother nature.
