From September 26 – 28 2017, people, companies and institutions from all over the world will again gather at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai to India’s Leading Trade Fair for Environmental Technologies. Apart from the exhibition, a conference as well as workshops are currently being organized. High-ranking speakers from India and abroad – from politics, business, science and research will again be the backbone for IFAT India’s high class conference program. Within the scope of the workshops, lectures and panel discussions,Indian and international experts will be discussing and presenting potential solutions to Indian challenges. The primary objective is to bring together and inspire solution providers, practitioners and decision-makers and to share knowledge and experience that pertains to proven and innovative environmental technologies.
This year, on Tuesday, September 26 2017, Indian Biogas Association and German Biogas Association are organizing a workshop on “Biowaste to Biogas”, where experts from India and Germany will be giving first-hand information from two different perspectives and discussing these with the participants. After the workshop, IBA will be conducting its very first General Assembly only accessible to IBA members.
On Wednesday, September 27 2017, a session on Biogas is being jointly organized by GIZ, German Biogas Association and Indian Biogas Association. Biogas has proven to be a solution to India’s challenges in waste management. Thus, being a complex and multifaceted technology and due to many recent activities going on in the market, the panel will highlight several of the most recent aspects and discuss challenges and possible solutions.
